Great selection and analysis. I am happy with your inclusion of the sword. Even if it is a well-known card, not a lot of players will get to see this reskin due to its scarcity (including drafters like myself). I have also been digging the art in this set, among my favourites: Gina Matarazo, and Omar Rayyan. It is hard to pick, there are so many to choose from as you also pointed out.
I was so excited to see Gina make her debut- I've seen her work at IX each year (she is also MTG artist Matt Stewart's wife), and Omar is a favorite as well- one of his Secret Lair paintings hangs in my office. This set was such a treat

Is Sam Guay, who did the Nocturnal Hunger design, a relation of Rebecca Guay? Also, a great illustration, and one I need some time with to appreciate.
They are not- Rebecca has a daughter who also does art but Sam is no relation
